Rudra Taal Theka Taali and khaali ,Rudra Taal is a rhythmic cycle in Indian classical music, typically used in instrumental and vocal compositions, as well as in dance performances. It consists of 11 beats (matras) and is divided into four sections or vibhags.
Layout of Rudra Taal:
- First Vibhag (5 beats): 1 2 3 4 5 (Tali on 1)
- Second Vibhag (2 beats): 6 7 (Tali on 6)
- Third Vibhag (2 beats): 8 9 (Khali on 8)
- Fourth Vibhag (2 beats): 10 11
