Aada Chautaal is a taal (rhythmic cycle) in Hindustani classical music. It has 14 beats and is divided into two parts: the first part has eight beats, and the second part has six beats. The division is 8+6, and it is played as follows:

  AADA  CHAAR  TAAL is 14 beats rhythm cycle is also known as ara Chautala. Ada Chautaal is a fourteen beat cycle of the Tabla. It is one of the most popular and widely used Taals of North Indian Classical Music. It is a medium pace Taal and has a standard Avartan of fourteen beats which can be divided into seven sections. This Taal is used for both slow and fast compositions and is usually played with the open sound of the Tabla. It is also used for accompaniment during performances of instrumental and vocal music.
